The Country Club of Waterbury
The Country Club of Waterbury web site launched prior to the 2003 golfing season. Working closely with club officers and staff, Mattatuck created an informative site with an understated elegance fitting for a club with a long-standing tradition of excellence.
Mattatuck Consulting was formed in 2002 by Waterbury native Daniel M. Lynch. A marketing and business consulting organization, Mattatuck specializes in projects which integrate online marketing as an element of the overall marketing and business strategy. Located in Trumbull, Dan has a range of clients in the Northeast and brings 21 years of technology marketing and business experience to each project. Having managed projects for world-leading brands including Microsoft, Hallmark, Eastman Kodak, The History Channel, and many others, Dan is well suited to his mission for Mattatuck.
As a former caddie at the club, Lynch was also able to leverage that experience in the creation of the web site. Starting in 1972 as a singles caddie, Dan advanced to 'Class A' doubles caddie and 10-years later received a club caddie scholarship while he attended Bryant College for marketing and computer science.
"My dad also caddied at this club in the late 1940's...", Lynch notes. He quickly recalls many of the members he caddied for, especially his 'away jobs' working for Caroline Keggi in several state events. His 'last hoorah' as a caddie was in July 1984 as his team of Dave Dallob & Jon Diggets won the annual four-day Member-Guest.
