Mattatuck Founder Authors 'Google Your Family Tree';
New Guidebook for Online Genealogy Research
Trumbull, CT — 18 November 2008 — Mattatuck Consulting today announced the commercial availability of Google Your Family Tree, a new guidebook for online genealogy published in partnership with FamilyLink.com, Inc., based in Provo, Utah. The book was written earlier this year by Mattatuck founder Dan Lynch and captures his unique combination of skills and understanding of Internet technology and family history research. Several Mattatuck clients, including FamilyLink, provide products or services for the large worldwide community of genealogists and family history enthusiasts.
According to FamilyLink founder and chief executive officer Paul Allen, "Google Your Family Tree is the right book, describing the right search engine, written by the right author, and released at the right time. Lynch first met Allen in 1998 when Lynch joined privately-held Ancestry.com as vice president of business development. Allen was co-founder and CEO and his company would eventually grow to become the leading genealogy provider worldwide, now known as The Generations Network.
